Got Questions? ..  ..  ..  We've Got Answers!

  • Who Joins the Guild?

Members of the Mountain Regional Arts & Craft Guild represent a diverse group of individual artists and crafters, mostly from the North Georgia and Western North Carolina areas.  Some are full-time artists or craftsmen, while others are hobbyists.  But what they all share is a passion for artistic expression, regardless of the medium, and a love for sharing & learning.

  • As an Artist/Crafter, Why Should I Join?

Part of the mission of our guild is to provide both support and opportunity for our members.  We offer local artists encouragement and support of their art thru the Artworks Gallery, shows, and fairs.

  • I'm Pretty Good at What I Do. Can I Teach?

Absolutely!  The Guild encourages its members to share their knowledge and skills with others willing to learn.  Contact us directly for more info on this.

  • Can I Display My Work in the Gallery?

More than likely, "Yes".  Contact us directly via the Contact Page to discuss.

  • Does the Guild Help Children?

Yes, we do! The Guild offers discounted or free art classes for children to experience creating and appreciating art.  In addition, the Guild offers art scholarships to deserving individuals to help them hone their skills.

  • What About Help for Our Senior Citizens?

We've got that covered too!  The Guild offers affordable art classes for adults to experience creating and appreciating art.  In addition, the Guild offers art scholarships to deserving individuals to help them hone their skills.

  • How Does the Guild Give Back to the Community?

In addition to everything else we've mention in our responses to other questions, we're particularly proud that we:

    • Support local traditional mountain crafts and culture thru ArtWorks, shows, and fairs.
    • Offer the community a venue to appreciate and purchase quality arts and handmade crafts thru ArtWorks, shows, and fairs.
    • Contribute to economic development of the community by attracting tourists and new residents who appreciate local art and crafts.
