I started my rug hooking "addiction" in 1980 after seeing someone demonstrating the art.  Certification as a McGown instructor and 25 years attendance at week-long teachers workshops prepared me for teaching in my home studio and at workshops in several states.  I am also on the teaching staff at John C. Campbell Folk School.  Several publications have featured my work and some of my pieces can be seen at Artworks in Hiawassee, GA and The Art Center in Blue Ridge, GA.
